The scan gives us detailed digital information that can be checked immediately and used for treatment planning or sent directly to the dental laboratory where needed. This helps make the journey from scanning to treatment faster and more streamlined, with the accuracy needed to plan and create your treatment precisely.
And there’s another benefit: It’s much more comfortable. For many treatments, digital scanning removes the need for traditional trays and impression material altogether.

TRIOS is a small handheld scanner that captures detailed images of your teeth as it is moved around your mouth. These images are combined to create an accurate digital 3D model.
We can see the scan on screen straight away, check the detail we’ve captured and rescan a particular area if we need to, without starting the whole process again.
Once complete, the digital information is ready to use for treatment planning or can be sent electronically to the dental laboratory involved in creating your treatment.
